Marketing Manager

As the UK Marketing Manager you will have the opportunity of working with a brand which is over 100 years old but with the culture of a start up business. It's a fun, lively and fast paced place to work usually with short deadlines so you will need to be willing to roll up your sleeves.

Although this is a 12 to 14 month Fixed Term Contract (maternity leave), it will enable you to work with some of the best in the industry which will only make you a better marketing professional.

The overarching objective of the UK Marketing Manager is to increase performance through in-store and online activations whilst working in conjunction with retailers and distributors to grow the brand and category.

Working for the number one brand in their category and operating within the FMCG space isn't for everyone. Because you need to push yourself, constantly challenge your own thinking, staying one step ahead of your branded competitors and private label products.

Working from home around four days a week reflects just how flexible the company is and how the focus is firmly fixed on outputs not inputs.

Your new role (UK Marketing Manager)

These are the key responsibilities of the UK Marketing Manager:

• To drive performance through annual marketing plans
• Launch, nurture and grow NPD
• Build external relationships with retailers and distributors
• Work closely with the internal sales teams
• Monitor and analyse brand and category data helping to drive improved performance and the Return On Investment (ROI)
• As category captain you will drive in-store and online initiatives helping to make the shopper experience easier to navigate including sign posting, info panels and optimisation of imagery and wording
• Drive the visibility of products into other categories where the rate of sales are four times higher

Reporting into the Marketing Director and a dotted line into the UK Country Manager this is both the challenge and charm. You'll learn lots from two highly capable and experienced individuals but they will constructively challenge your thinking as the UK Marketing Manager.

Benefits

• Base salary = £60k to £65k
• WFH 80% Bracknell 20%
• 25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

Skills and experience to be successful

• FMCG sector experience
• Working within the Marketing function
• Increasing sales through marketing led initiatives in-store and online
• Leading on category wide initiatives
• Launching NPD
• Working with data to determine the ROI of marketing initiatives

The Interview Process

• TEAMS interview with Marketing Director
• Face to face interview with the UK Country Manager + 1 other. There will be a pre-set presentation
• TEAMS informal conversation with the People & Culture Partner.
