The Role
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring music educator to join our Acting and Musical Theatre team as an Assistant Professor (Music).
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled musician and teacher with extensive experience of actor and/or musical theatre training. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional conservatoire-level training, supporting students to develop the technical, creative and professional skills needed for successful and sustainable careers in the performing arts.
Working alongside colleagues across the Music and Singing departments, you will contribute to an innovative, inclusive and industry-informed curriculum, bringing current professional practice into the classroom, rehearsal room and performance environment.
Alongside teaching, you will contribute to curriculum development, assessment, recruitment activities, productions and wider institutional initiatives, helping to ensure our training remains forward-thinking, inclusive and aligned with the evolving needs of the performing arts industry.
