The role is covering maternity leave so is a Fixed Term post for 12 months We have an exciting opportunity to join our St Helen's North 0-19 team as a Public Health Nurse, supporting the delivery of a public health offer to children and young people and delivering the Healthy Child Programme core offer. T. The public health nurse role gives a great insight to our service and has supported employees to develop into other roles associated with public health and 0-19 services. The St Helen's 0-19 service is a friendly supportive team offering staff the opportunity to work flexibly if needed. We work with the trust values of compassion openness and Trust ensuring that we demonstrate these values to children and families in St Helen's and to each other. We have daily safety huddles to support staff at the beginning of each day and monthly team meetings. Supervision is available to all staff both planned and reactive. We work closely with our specialist Safeguarding nurses to ensure staff feel supported and have access to appropriate training and induction Details

- Supporting the 0-19 service to deliver the public health offer in St Helen's.
- Managing a safeguarding caseload, including completing health assessments, contributing to multi-agency meetings and completing reports.
- Delegation and work planning/organisation
