EYFS SEN Support Assistant

Protocol Education is recruiting EYFS SEN Support Assistants to work across private nurseries and Nursery and Reception classes within mainstream primary schools. We have a range of full-time, part-time, long-term and daily supply opportunities available for caring, patient and enthusiastic individuals. You'll play a vital role in helping young children develop their communication, confidence, independence and love of learning through nurturing, play-based support. Your role may include: Providing 1:1 support for children with additional needsSupporting children within Nursery and Reception classroomsEncouraging communication, social interaction and emotional developmentDelivering engaging, play-based learning activitiesWorking alongside teachers, nursery practitioners and SENCOs to implement individual support plansCreating a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment You may support children with: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)ADHDGlobal Developmental DelaySocial, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needsSensory and communication differences We're looking for someone who: Has experience working with young children in an EYFS, nursery, childcare or SEN settingIs patient, nurturing and passionate about early childhood developmentUnderstands the importance of routine, play and positive relationshipsCan adapt activities to meet individual learning needsWorks well as part of a team and communicates effectively with colleagues and families Why work with Protocol Education?
