The Best Connection is recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for a long-term position with our established client in Wimbledon.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity , offering full-time work and the chance to secure a permanent position. Previous skip-driving experience is not required, as full training will be provided.
Duties include for Class 2 Skip Driver:
- Delivering and collecting skips throughout the local area
- Operating the skip vehicle safely and efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing all required paperwork
- Following road transport and health and safety regulations
- Providing professional customer service at delivery and collection sites
- Reporting any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly
Driver requirements for Class 2 Skip Driver:
- Valid UK Category C/Class 2 driving licence
- At least six months' recent Class 2 driving experience
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- A reliable and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A strong commitment to safe working
Skip-driving experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
