Science Teacher - Colchester
A high-performing secondary academy in Colchester is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their Science Faculty ASAP . This is a full-time, permanent position teaching across KS3–KS5.

• Teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics

About the Role
The academy is looking for a Science Teacher who can deliver engaging, practical, and exam-focused lessons that inspire students and develop their scientific knowledge and skills.
Key responsibilities include:
• Teaching Science across KS3–KS5
• Planning and delivering practical and theory lessons
• Supporting students with GCSE and A Level exam preparation
• Monitoring progress and implementing interventions
• Contributing to departmental development and enrichment
Candidate Requirements
• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Degree in a Science-related discipline
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to high academic standards and student engagement
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are encouraged to apply.
