Please note that there are 2 positions available for this roleWorking hours: 40 hours per weekInterview Date: To be confirmedWe are looking for Housing & Tenancy Sustainment Officers to work on a rota basis with some early morning and late nights at Harnall Lifehouse, Coventry. Harnall Lifehouse is a 80 bedded Lifehouse for Homeless males with Complex Needs aged 25+. At Harnall Lifehouse they also have 5 Emergency Beds for Rough Sleepers.Key responsibilities:The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with support colleagues to ensure that licensees can maintain their licence and can access services, taking appropriate action on breaches of licence agreements, including antisocial behaviour and to maximise outcomes for tenants and The Salvation ArmyAs a Tenancy Sustainment Worker, you will assist the support team with the intensive housing management function. You will play a key role in interviews and assessments, allocation of housing and settling in new clients.The post holder should have the ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: Experience supporting individuals with complex or vulnerable needsKnowledge of tenancy management issues such as arrears, anti-social behaviour, and licence breachesStrong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workloadExperience of working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary teamGood IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systemsA proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering positive outcomesIn order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.In the job profile you will find the criteria required for the role please make sure that you address this in your supporting statement as this forms the basis of our shortlisting.Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, a criminal record check, Enhanced with barred list DBS Disclosure check for the adult workforce and evidence of your Right to Work in the UK in line with Home Office requirements.As we are not a licensed sponsor, applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
