Early Years Classroom Teacher – Sheffield

Academics are working with a range of supportive nurseries and primary schools across Sheffield who are seeking an experienced Early Years Classroom Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching within Nursery and Reception settings on a temporary, ongoing basis.
Position: Early Years Classroom Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 – £190 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As an Early Years Classroom Teacher in Sheffield, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured lessons in line with the EYFS framework, supporting pupils’ early development.
This Early Years Classroom Teacher role in Sheffield provides the opportunity to work across a variety of settings, helping children to develop key communication, social, and early academic skills.
You will create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel supported and confident in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS curriculum
• Support early development through play-based learning
• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Adapt teaching to suit different abilities and needs
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents
• Follow safeguarding and school policies
Candidate Requirements
* EYTS or QTS qualification
• Experience teaching within early years settings
• Strong understanding of child development
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
