As Head Baker, you'll take ownership of the bakery operation, leading the team to consistently produce exceptional artisan breads, pastries and baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and efficiency. You'll also: * Lead, inspire and develop the bakery team through training, coaching and day-to-day support.
* Oversee production planning to ensure fresh products are delivered on time across the business.
* Champion artisan baking techniques, with a strong focus on sourdough production.
* Manage rotas, staffing levels and performance to keep the bakery running smoothly.
* Monitor stock, ordering, food costs and waste to maximise efficiency.
* Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and cleanliness.
* Work closely with the senior management team to drive continuous improvement and support future growth. What you'll bring: * A genuine passion for artisan baking and producing high-quality products.
* Strong experience working with sourdough and handcrafted breads.
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a professional bakery.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A positive, hands-on approach with a passion for developing others.
