Job summary
We are looking to recruit a motivated and compassionate Resident Doctor to join our Rehabilitation Hospital team. Working alongside fellow medical trainees and a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, undertaking clinical assessments, planning investigations and treatments, and supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment, while contributing to service development, clinical governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be committed to providing outstanding patient care, maintaining high professional standards, and working effectively with colleagues across hospital and community services.

Main duties of the job

• Undertake administrative duties associated with the care and management of patients.
• Participate actively in Clinical Governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain full GMC registration and practise in accordance with professional standards and codes of conduct.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation and data recording.
• Engage in the Trust's appraisal process and ongoing professional development activities.
• Attend and contribute to the Trust's academic, teaching, and CPD programmes.
• Comply with all Trust policies, procedures, information governance requirements, and financial regulations.
• Work collaboratively with managers, medical colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to support the efficient delivery of services.

Qualifications
Essential

• Full Registration with the General Medical Council
• Completed Foundation level training

Experience
Essential

• Good knowledge and experience of the inpatient care including rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of Trust priorities
• Knowledge of National and Local Clinical Guidelines and Procedures.
• Prior experience in please add in any other essential clinical requirements.
• Experience of audit and an understanding of the principles of clinical governance.
