The Role

We are looking for a passionate and committed Secondary School Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Sheffield.

The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students, deliver engaging and challenging lessons, and contribute to a positive learning environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the relevant secondary curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with different abilities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers where appropriate.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion and student wellbeing at all times.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
• Has strong subject knowledge in their specialist teaching area.
• Can plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
• Has excellent classroom-management and communication skills.
• Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to student achievement.
• Works effectively as part of a team.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
