Children's Registered Home Manager

Contract:   Permanent

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000(Depending on Experience) Reporting to:   Regional Registered Manager

Empower Family Group have a new amazing opportunity due to progression within the team! We are now looking for a Children's Homes Registered Manager to join the residential team, based in Somerset.

 
The Empower Family Group specialise in providing child focused care and support for children and young people who have complex needs. As the Registered Manager you will be providing the team and young people with the leadership and support required to provide the highest quality of care.

This role is subject to the successful applicant having an enhanced DBS check for child and adult workforce with barred list checks.

Requirements

• NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management is preferred, or a willingness to work towards this. (Desirable)
  
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or NVQ Level 4 in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or equivalent (Required)
  
• Emotional resilience and a calm, confident presence.
  
• A child-centred approach
  
• The ability to stay positive, even on days that may be challenging
  
• A commitment to safeguarding children.
  
• UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
