Senior Delivery Manager

We’re growing our Delivery Management teams and looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join us. You’ll work with talented people, lead teams through complex challenges and help deliver digital services that have a real impact on people’s lives.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary agile teams across Delivery, User Centred Design, Architecture, Software Engineering and QA , bringing clarity and momentum to delivery. You’ll build trusted client relationships, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure high-quality outcomes.

You’ll also contribute to our Delivery Management community, sharing knowledge and helping improve how we deliver.

Requirements

What you’ll do

• Lead high-performing and multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver complex digital products and services.
• Build trusted client relationships and keep delivery focused on outcomes.
• Shape delivery plans, manage dependencies, risks, budgets and resources.
• Lead agile ceremonies, governance and effective decision-making.
• Coach colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement across our Delivery Management community.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience leading the successful delivery of complex digital or software projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across digital, user-centred design, software or DevOps environments.
• Strong delivery assurance, risk, dependency and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical understanding and confidence working with technical teams.
• Commercial experience across budgets, resources, contracts or Statements of Work .
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change.
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

It would be great if you also have

• Experience delivering services against the Government Digital Service (GDS) Service Standard .
• Experience working in digital consultancy or transformation, particularly with UK public sector clients.
• An understanding of cloud technologies, modern software engineering and DevOps practices.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro or Azure DevOps.
