Project Worker 2 - Healthy, Respectful Relationships Group Work Programme

Job description

Are you passionate about supporting young people to thrive within safe, positive relationships? Do you want to be part of a service that actively contributes to ending violence against women and girls? If so, we'd love to hear from you. Barnardo's is seeking a dedicated Project Worker 2 to join our Healthy, Respectful Relationships Programme, working with children, young people, and families from sanctuary-seeking backgrounds across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with key personnel to make them aware of the service and the referral process.
  • Liaise with parents to arrange an initial home visit or organise group meetings with the parents/carers of children and young people referred to the programme.
  • Invite participants to complete baseline assessment again and evaluation form post intervention.
  • Contribute to a report on how the service is performing against all key measures and circulate to TEO contract manager in the agreed format and at the agreed intervals.
  • Contribute to a final evaluation/impact report that summarises the key findings and outcomes achieved.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Demonstrable experience of design and delivery of group work programmes with children and young people.
  • Demonstrable experience of ability to engage with young people who may face barriers to access services and programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience of safeguarding.

Further Information

Salary: £28,124 to £37,117 (FTE) (£11,249 - £14,846 pro rata)
