A vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Northampton is looking to appoint an enthusiastic ECT of Spanish from January 2026 . This role is perfect for a trainee teacher ready to bring energy, fluency and cultural richness to the MFL department.
The Role
You’ll deliver Spanish across KS3–KS4 , using a well-designed curriculum built around phonics, sentence-building and real conversation. As an ECT you will have clear structure, access to high-quality resources, and strong modelling from experienced colleagues.
Lessons follow a consistent MFL framework that supports memory, spoken confidence and grammar acquisition.
About the School
The school is rated Good and known for its inclusive ethos, excellent behaviour systems and genuine care for staff wellbeing. The MFL team occupies a designated teaching area with language-rich displays, audio equipment and breakout spaces for speaking practice.
A strong culture of collaboration means ECTs are never left to plan in isolation.
