  • undertake systematic reviews of published economic evidence and analyses of real-world data to support NICE guidance;
  • work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, committee members and staff across NICE, presenting complex methods and findings clearly to audiences with varied technical backgrounds; and
  • contribute to model validation and the continued development of health economic and analytical methods and practice across the team and wider organisation.
The role can be based in either Manchester or London, with hybrid working available.

Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you will:
  • develop economic plans that identify key cost-effectiveness issues and priorities for economic analyses;
  • systematically review and critically appraise published economic evidence, and undertake analyses of real-world data;
  • design, implement and validate decision-analytic models using appropriate methods, based on the available evidence and the needs of decision-making committees;
  • evaluate evidence and identify the data required to inform model parameters, including exploring parameter and decision uncertainty through sensitivity analysis;
  • prepare and present complex modelling methods and results to multidisciplinary committees in a clear and accessible way, supporting their consideration of the evidence; and
  • produce clear and comprehensive documentation of economic analyses, including technical responses to consultation comments.
You will deliver high-quality work across multiple projects, working independently and collaborating with committee members, multidisciplinary teams and staff across NICE. You will develop your technical expertise and contribute to model validation, methodological development, training and the wider work of the Health Economics and Decision Modelling team.
