About the Role
As Teacher of History , you will teach across KS3–KS5 , delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop both historical knowledge and key disciplinary skills.
You will deliver lessons that:
Build deep substantive knowledge across a range of historical periods and themes
Develop disciplinary thinking, including causation, significance, change and continuity
Strengthen source evaluation and interpretation through structured practice
Improve extended writing through modelling, scaffolding and deliberate practice
Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level through precise feedback and strong exam technique
There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as lecture programmes, reading societies, debating, trips, museum links and cross-curricular projects depending on interest and experience.
