About the Role

As Teacher of History , you will teach across KS3–KS5 , delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop both historical knowledge and key disciplinary skills.

You will deliver lessons that:

• Build deep substantive knowledge across a range of historical periods and themes

• Develop disciplinary thinking, including causation, significance, change and continuity

• Strengthen source evaluation and interpretation through structured practice

• Improve extended writing through modelling, scaffolding and deliberate practice

• Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level through precise feedback and strong exam technique

There is scope to contribute to enrichment such as lecture programmes, reading societies, debating, trips, museum links and cross-curricular projects depending on interest and experience.
