Science Teacher - Independent School - Peterborough

Wayman Education is supporting a highly respected Independent School in Peterborough seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their expanding Science faculty from January . This full-time, permanent role offers the rare opportunity to teach highly motivated pupils within a school that values intellectual curiosity, strong academic foundations, and holistic development.

The Role

You will teach Science across KS3–KS4 , with scope to deliver your specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) at A-Level depending on experience. The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver structured, inspiring lessons that cultivate curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and give students the confidence to apply scientific ideas independently.

This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys:

• Designing creative and challenging lessons

Experience & Qualifications

• A strong academic background in a Science discipline

• QTS or appropriate teaching qualification (applications from ECTs also welcomed)
