The Role

The successful Psychology Teacher will teach Psychology across KS4 and KS5, delivering well-structured and engaging lessons that challenge students and support strong academic progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Psychology lessons across KS4 and KS5

• Preparing students effectively for GCSE and A Level examinations

• Developing students' analytical, evaluative and critical-thinking skills

• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback

• Contributing positively to the wider department and school community

What the School is Looking For

The school is seeking a Psychology Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Has experience teaching Psychology within a secondary school or sixth-form setting

• Can confidently teach across KS4 and KS5

• Has strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

• Is committed to raising attainment and student engagement

• Works effectively as part of a collaborative department
