Indirect Tax Specialist - In House, Hybrid, Manufacturer
£40k - £55k per annumLooking for an exciting VAT role for the new year?
I’m currently in charge of hiring a VAT Analyst for a well-known manufacturer responsible for many household products. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work in a fun environment with a focus on internal development and will gain exposure to indirect tax internationally.
Based in West London, offering hybrid working and an enticing salary package, this is not an opportunity to be overlooked.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of international VAT reconciliations and completing VAT reports and analysis
- Liaising with clients across the EMEA and APAC
- Assistance with financial close processes, month/quarter/year-end and rectification of issues that might arise
- Managing relations with HMRC and external advisors
- Aiding the preparation of information necessary for VAT audits
Requirements:
We are keen to hear from candidates with:
- Working experience of Microsoft Excel- Understanding of Indirect Tax within the UK and internationally, preferably with some industry experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally
