The Role:
• To support a mother and son in their own home.
• Household tasks
• Shopping
• Social activities
• Occasional help dressing
• Help with meals
• Limited personal care Personal Qualities and Attributes required:
• Respectful of confidentiality and privacy
• Responsible, reliable and trustworthy
• Respectful of dignity and independence
• Good communication skills and social skills
• Punctual, reliable and flexible
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Understanding, adaptable and organised
• Experience with Autism and PDA desirable
• Car owner with driving license, use of own vehicle required and business insurance essential You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.
Please note that the person undertaking this role may be requested to supply evidence of DBS clearance and/or references where appropriate. Hours: Saturday and or Sunday 8.00am – 4.00pm plus school holiday hours
Pay: Self – Employed - £18.00 per hour
Job Type: Part time Please note, Compass Disability Services (Compass Independent Living Team) is a support, advisory and payroll service. We support people with a disability or long-term health condition to live independently and retain control of their lives within the community. We are not the person that you will work for. You will work for the individual or family that we are supporting.
