Job Title: Treatment Room Practice Nurse – Emergency Pontypool
Location: Emergency Pontypool
Employment Type: Locum / Temporary
Rate: £25 – £40 per hour depending on experience.

About the Role

A well established GP surgery in Emergency Pontypool is seeking a Treatment Room Practice Nurse to strengthen its nursing team. You will work alongside GPs, ANPs and healthcare assistants delivering the full range of practice nursing services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nurse led clinics for patients with long term conditions.
Carry out phlebotomy, ear care, spirometry and other treatment room procedures.
Deliver flu, shingles, pneumococcal and childhood vaccinations.
Support new patient checks and NHS health checks.
Keep clinical records complete and up to date.

Requirements

Active NMC registration
Experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting
Chronic disease management and immunisation experience
Excellent communication and organisational skills
