Creative Designer - Established Design Group

Tagged Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Creative Designer to join an established Design Group in Cardiff.  They are looking for someone to develop and create images by hand and digitally, or enhance existing designs to optimise sales potential, ensuring strict compliance with publishing disciplines and deadlines.

The role of Creative Designer:

• Develop relationships with Senior/Design Managers and Creative Manager, be able to work to briefs and deliver to given deadlines
• Working to a brief issued by the Design Managers, create new design or manipulate existing artwork to fully explore all design formats.
• Execute 3D visuals for all product areas for in-house and customer presentations.
• Execute 3D mock-up samples to gain an accurate understanding of correct digital file set-up and to be able to assist with mocking up as required.
• Work closely with the Design Managers to develop ranges to suit individual account needs.
• Work closely with colleagues from repro through to production to ensure accurate product manufacturing
• Actively contribute to New Product Development ideas
• Be proactive in design and formatting and exhibit trend awareness.
• Be aware of customer activity.
• Meet given deadlines without allowing product quality to suffer.
• Remain aware of the Company’s Quality Policy.
• Remain aware of the Health and Safety Guidelines and promote a high level of safety.

What Tagged Resources is looking for:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Good Communication Skills
• Fully conversant with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Able to take designs through from initial development to final repro for all our UK product categories
• Be organised and be able to work to tight deadlines.
• Analytical skills.
• Proficient IT skills.
• Quick to pick up new skills/knowledge.
• Flexible to work demands
• Good Commercial understanding of customer requirements
• Packaging Knowledge.
• Good level of Mac Skills
• Personal Attributes
