SEND Teaching Assistants Required – Coventry

Monarch Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school in Coventry for SEND Teaching Assistants.

We are seeking caring, committed, and proactive individuals to support pupils with a range of additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment where you can make a real difference to the lives, education, and wellbeing of young people.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Supporting students with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication needs, and learning difficulties.
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Encouraging engagement both within the classroom and around the school.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults.
• Previous SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
• A calm, patient, and resilient attitude.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential.
