Protocol Education is working with a supportive and welcoming school in Southend-on-Sea to recruit a talented teacher for a full-time maternity cover position. While initially a maternity cover role, there is potential for the position to continue beyond the fixed term for the right candidate. The Role As the successful candidate, you will: Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2.Take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment, marking, and parent communication.Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils' academic and personal development.Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams.Contribute to the wider school community. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2.Ability to commit to a full-time position for the duration of the maternity cover.Willingness to undertake full teaching responsibilities.Strong classroom management and organisational skills.Passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
