Position:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Domestic Supervisor based at Ayrshire Central Hospital . This post is offered on a Bank - As and when required basis.

Hours:

As and when required hours per week.

From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for the allocation of work, daily supervision, training, and welfare of Domestic staff within Ayrshire Central Hospital Site.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required for this post:

Candidates will have sound knowledge of practices and procedures within a Domestic Department adhering to Control of Infection guidance.
You will have the ability to communicate well with all levels of staff and previous administration experience would be an advantage.
An understanding of minimum staffing levels is essential as the supervisor is responsible for providing adequate cover over 7 days.
Full training will be provided.
