- Monday to Friday
- 1 hour 15 minutes per day
- 12.00pm to 1.15pm
As a Catering Assistant, you will:
- Support the preparation and service of healthy, nutritious meals
- Serve food to pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with setting up and clearing dining areas
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety
- Help create a positive dining experience for pupils and staff
- Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen service
Previous catering experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are looking for people who have:
- A positive approach to work and a willingness to learn
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- An understanding of the importance of hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently
- The ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
