AstraZeneca seeks a Director Product Quality to lead quality strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle for the Flu Franchise and pipeline. The role combines enterprise quality leadership, cross-functional integration, and regulatory stewardship, requiring a science-driven professional to accelerate Lean practices and drive product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Represent Quality on global teams and lead quality strategy for Flu Franchise
- Support franchise governance and translate CMC strategy into phase-appropriate execution
- Act as communication bridge between development, CMC, Quality, and Operations teams
- Lead Quality Product Team to resolve product quality challenges and strengthen supply robustness
- Provide data-driven, risk-based quality advice and maintain end-to-end product insight
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, or equivalent
- Multiple years of quality assurance experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Confirmed work experience in Quality function
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Experience interacting with global regulatory bodies
- Solid understanding of CMC regulatory guidances (ICH, FDA, EMA, MHRA)
