PIC Management is recruiting Food and Beverage Interns for upscale hotels, resorts, and restaurants across the United States. This paid internship runs under the J-1 Exchange Visitor Program for a duration of 12 months.
Position Details
Role: Food and Beverage Intern / Waiter
Duration: 12 months
Start dates: Rolling throughout the year
Salary: $10-$14/hour + tips
Accommodation: Provided or subsidized by the host property
Responsibilities
Welcome and seat guests, present menus and daily specials
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serve meals and drinks following service standards
Handle guest requests and resolve complaints professionally
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and comply with health regulations
Process payments and manage POS systems
Requirements
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a hospitality or tourism school
English level: B2 minimum
Minimum 6 months of relevant professional or internship experience
Valid passport (minimum 18 months validity)
Between 18 and 30 years old at program start
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
