The Opportunity

An established and growing business within the commercial energy sector is looking to expand its successful B2B sales division with experienced Energy Consultants based in Sunderland.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced commercial energy sales professionals who understand the B2B energy market and can confidently manage the full sales cycle.

As an Energy Consultant, you’ll be responsible for developing both new and existing business relationships, advising customers on their energy options, and delivering tailored solutions that genuinely add value. You’ll work in a fast-paced but supportive environment where performance is recognised, progression is encouraged, and earning potential is uncapped.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing high-volume outbound B2B sales activity
• Building and maintaining a strong customer pipeline
• Developing long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers
• Taking a consultative approach to commercial energy sales
• Understanding customer requirements through effective questioning and fact-finding
• Presenting tailored energy solutions designed to save customers time and money
• Managing your own diary, pipeline, and CRM activity effectively
• Achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
• Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process

About You

• Previous experience working as an Energy Consultant within the commercial energy sector is essential
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
• Strong understanding of the commercial energy market
• Confident communicator with excellent objection handling and closing ability
• Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven by success
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
• Professional, articulate, and customer-focused
• Strong organisational and diary management skills
• Team player who aligns with a collaborative culture

• Competitive basic salary up to £50,000
• Realistic OTE of £75,000-£90,000+
