The role

As a Project Manager, you'll join our Mission Systems business, a trusted provider of integrated defence and security solutions. Working within the ISTAR and Cyber portfolio, you'll lead the delivery of complex engineering and technology projects that support intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, autonomy and cyber capabilities.

Day-to-day, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers and industry partners, helping deliver innovative solutions in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.

• Leading the operational and strategic delivery of assigned projects across the project lifecycle.
• Managing complex engineering projects, ensuring cost, schedule and quality objectives are achieved.
• Supporting requirement capture, project scoping, solution development, pricing activities and proposal generation.
• Driving effective risk and change management to maintain successful project outcomes and commercial performance.
• Coordinating internal teams and external supply chain partners to deliver customer requirements and agreed milestones.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Project Manager

• Demonstrable experience applying project management methodologies within a technical or engineering environment.
• Leading and motivating project teams to achieve business and customer objectives.
• Managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
• Delivering strong financial performance, including budget control and profitability management.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary internal teams and external suppliers to deliver complex solutions.

Qualifications for the Project Manager

• APM PMQ, Chartered status or equivalent (advantageous)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
