Engineering Coordinator

Catalent seeks an Engineering Coordinator for its Swindon facility to coordinate contractors, manage work orders, and ensure compliance with site safety and GMP requirements. The role involves contractor supervision, permit-to-work reviews, maintenance scheduling, and liaison across departments in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise engineering contractors to meet site safety, GMP, and operational requirements
• Review RAMS and issue permits to work before maintenance activities commence
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance work orders through CMMS/JDE systems
• Raise and manage engineering quality records including deviations and corrective actions
• Coordinate pest control activities, follow up on findings, and track corrective actions

Requirements

• Background in engineering, project management, or scheduling
• Experience managing contractors in engineering, facilities, or manufacturing settings
• Proficiency with CMMS or ERP systems; JDE experience beneficial
• Ability to review Risk Assessments and Method Statements and issue Permits to Work
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
• Excellent communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Experience maintaining accurate engineering documentation and records
