Psychiatry - Eating Disorders Specialist Registrar

Temporary, Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry - Eating Disorders Specialist Registrar to join our dynamic mental health team, where your expertise will directly contribute to the well-being of patients struggling with eating disorders. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care, engaging in regular case discussions and contributing to the ongoing development of our eating disorders program. Your responsibilities will also include the supervision and mentorship of junior staff, as well as the opportunity to partake in clinical research initiatives that advance the understanding and treatment of eating disorders.

The ideal candidate will possess a medical degree with a specialization in Psychiatry, along with relevant experience in managing eating disorders. A strong understanding of the complexities surrounding these conditions, including psychological, physiological, and social factors, is essential. You should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
