Salary : £30,000–£32,000 FTE

Hours : 30–40 hours per week, over 5 days

The Role:

As an Early Years Teacher at Nurtured Childcare, you’ll create inspirational learning opportunities that support children’s development through play, exploration, creativity and nurturing relationships.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Plan and provide engaging, child-centred and inspirational learning opportunities.

• Lead exciting experiences including outdoor learning, creative arts, woodwork, music, cooking and exploring the wonders of the world.

• Support children’s emotional wellbeing, development and independence.

• Create inclusive learning environments that support children with SEND.

• Maintain accurate observations, assessments and records while identifying emerging needs early.

• Work closely with parents, carers and external professionals to support each child’s development.

• Promote safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing at all times.

• Support and contribute to a positive team culture.

• Lead by example and maintain high professional standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an inspirational Early Years Teacher who brings creativity, adaptability, positivity and a genuine passion for helping children flourish.

Essential

• Qualified Nursery Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

• Minimum of 2 years’ childcare experience, preferably within an early years setting.

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.

• Understanding of quality teaching standards.

• Experience supporting children with SEND.

• Passion for outdoor learning and creative approaches to teaching.

• Experience working within nurturing and inclusive early years environments.

• Ability to think outside the box and adapt practice to meet individual needs and interests.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.

• Full DBS check.

• A positive attitude and the ability to make children, families and colleagues smile each day.

Desirable

• Full UK driving licence.

• Previous leadership experience.

• Experience supporting or participating in Ofsted inspections.
