HR Apprenticeship Trainer & Skills Coach Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Home-based with travel to employer sites, head office meetings and occasional overnight stays

- Home-based role with flexible working
- Up to 34 days annual leave, including bank holidays
- Additional Christmas shutdown leave
- Fully reimbursed business travel and accommodation expenses
- Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities
- Deliver engaging apprenticeship training through virtual and face-to-face sessions
- Coach and mentor learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
- Assess learner work and provide constructive, developmental feedback
- Monitor learner progress and support achievement of apprenticeship milestones
- Conduct regular progress reviews with learners and employers
- Prepare learners for Gateway and End-Point Assessment (EPA)
- Support learners with additional learning needs, including SEND requirements
- Ensure compliance with apprenticeship funding, safeguarding and quality standards
- Maintain accurate learner records and documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support learner success and continuous improvement
- Level 5 HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent)
- A proven track record within HR, ideally at HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Business Partner level
- Experience delivering training, coaching, mentoring or professional development
- Experience assessing performance and providing effective feedback
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or equivalent) or Teaching or training qualification (PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Experience working within apprenticeships, further education or work-based learning
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and EPA requirements
- Passionate about helping others learn and develop
- Learner-focused, supportive and approachable
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied caseload
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with wider teams
- Committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and outcomes
