The Role

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for Key Stage 2 SATs
* Use assessment information to identify gaps and plan targeted support
* Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and additional needs
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
* Create a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
* Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Year 6 Teacher will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
* Ideally have previous Year 6 and SATs preparation experience
* Demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and assessment skills
* Have effective behaviour and classroom management
