Full-Time, Permanent Physical Education Teacher
An ambitious secondary school in Brighton is seeking a motivated Physical Education Teacher to become part of its successful PE department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring young people to develop healthy lifestyles, teamwork, resilience and confidence through high-quality physical education.
You will teach Physical Education across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver GCSE and A-Level PE. The department offers a broad curriculum covering a wide range of individual and team sports, fitness, leadership and sports science, providing students with opportunities to achieve both inside and outside the classroom.
The successful candidate will join a department that plays a significant role in the wider life of the school. Staff are encouraged to lead extracurricular clubs, fixtures and sporting events, with students regularly participating in local and regional competitions across a variety of sports.
Teachers benefit from excellent sporting facilities, including extensive outdoor pitches, a modern sports hall, fitness suite and specialist activity spaces. The school is committed to supporting staff through ongoing professional development, collaborative planning and opportunities for career progression.
