First Line Support Engineer

IT First Line Support Engineer (Freelance) – Munich, Germany

Our client is an international organisation with offices in Munich and Eching. The role is part of the EMEA IT team and supports approximately 65 employees across both locations.

The project focuses on first-line IT support, end-user equipment, Microsoft 365 administration and IT asset management. The role involves working with the central IT team and coordinating with external IT service providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to employees in the Munich and Eching offices.
• Install, configure and manage Windows 11 computers and printers.
• Manage user accounts, mailboxes, groups and access rights in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain the inventory of IT equipment and applications.
• Manage IT security settings and access rights in cooperation with the central IT team.
• Identify IT security issues and coordinate their resolution with the central IT team.

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Experience installing and managing Windows 11 computers.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including user accounts and security groups.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
