VAT Adviser, Top Tier Bank - Central London
£45k - £55k per annumCommunicate are currently dealing with a Top Tier bank who are seeking a VAT Adviser to join the ambitious, hard working and successful finance team. You will be working as part of the Tax Consultancy Team and will be providing assistance, guidance and advice with VAT compliance to the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide the bank with VAT compliance services
- Highlight any risks or opportunities that could arise when review returns to ensure they are as accurate as possible
- Participate in company wide initiatives and concepts
- Assist with tax projects, planning and advice to the business
- Review processes and controls to improve VAT compliance
- Accurate preparation, and timely filling of indirect tax returns on a quarterly basis as required
Profile:
- Qualified accountant such as CTA/ACA/ACCA/ATT or relevant qualification
- VAT Specialist only
- Strong data analysis including advanced excel skills
- Financial Services experience is preferred, but not essential
- Commutable distance from London
- Confident, sociable and hard working individual
