The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them engage positively in lessons and make strong progress. This role suits someone who is proactive, calm under pressure and able to build meaningful relationships with young people.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting pupils in lessons to maintain focus and engagement
Providing targeted help to learners who need additional support
Assisting teachers with routines, behaviour expectations and learning activities
Working with pupils who have SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, communication or learning needs)
Helping maintain a structured, safe and purposeful learning environment
Following safeguarding procedures with consistency and professionalism
Experience supporting pupils in a school or youth setting
SEN experience highly desirable
Confident working across a range of subjects
Reliable, patient, calm and able to work well within a team
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
Fully available to start in September
Able to commit to a full‑time, long‑term role
£100-£110 per day, paid weekly.
