We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our friendly and supportive Acute Adult Speech and Language Therapy Team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This post sits within our Acute and Critical Care team, with a focus on general medicine.

You will work with adults in the acute hospital setting who present with a wide range of acquired speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and contributing to the ongoing development of acute SLT services within a compassionate and forward-thinking team.

Post-registration dysphagia competency and experience is essential for this role. There may be times you will be asked to cover other clinical Speech and Language Therapy services within the ARI site, which will offer wider opportunities and further experience. We are committed to supporting professional development through regular service meetings, CPD opportunities, and access to clinical supervision and support from experienced specialist colleagues.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available in certain circumstances to successful candidates. HCPC registration is mandatory.
