Protocol Education is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Early Years SEN Support Assistants to join our team, supporting children within private nurseries and Nursery and Reception classes in mainstream primary schools. These rewarding roles involve working closely with young children who require additional support to access learning, develop communication skills, build confidence and achieve important developmental milestones. Whether you're an experienced SEN Support Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Teaching Assistant or have a background in childcare, we'd love to hear from you. Your day could include: Providing dedicated 1:1 support for children with additional needsSupporting children during play-based learning and structured classroom activitiesEncouraging speech, language, communication and social interactionHelping children develop independence and self-care skillsPromoting positive behaviour through consistency and encouragementWorking alongside teachers, nursery practitioners, SENCOs and families to ensure every child receives the support they need You'll be supporting children with a range of additional needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)ADHDGlobal Developmental DelaySensory processing needsSocial, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children in Early Years, childcare, nursery or school settingsHas experience supporting children with SEN or a genuine interest in developing within this areaIs caring, patient and resilientEnjoys building strong relationships with young childrenIs committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can flourish Why work with Protocol Education?
