This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.Whether you're an experienced SEN Teacher or a qualified teacher looking to transition into specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.Develop and implement individual learning plans and adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning needs.Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, and colleagues.Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for pupils.Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence.Maintain high standards of safeguarding and ensure the welfare of all pupils. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.Experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable.A strong understanding of a range of SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, and Moderate or Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), is beneficial.Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them succeed.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
