We are seeking an Operational Wellbeing & Communication Lead to join our team. This role involves translating organisational wellbeing priorities into actionable plans and managing day-to-day operational communications. Reporting directly to the Head of Guidance Services, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing workplace wellbeing and ensuring effective communication across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Operational Wellbeing & Communication Lead will report directly to Head of Guidance Services and will be responsible for:

  • Translate organisational wellbeing priorities into a clear, locally delivered plan.
  • Own and deliver an annual wellbeing calendar, including events, campaigns, and awareness activities, ensuring they are practical, inclusive, and aligned with operational pressures.
  • Manage day-to-day operational communications, planning and delivering clear, timely, and consistent messages using appropriate channels such as Teams, SharePoint, and manager briefings.
  • Coordinate wellbeing activities and colleague engagement, organise events, and use feedback to continuously improve activities.
  • Act as a liaison between Customer and People & Culture teams, aligning with the wider strategy and providing feedback from operational teams to shape future wellbeing priorities.
  • Support operational leaders and line managers by providing tools and guidance to help them communicate effectively with their teams and support team wellbeing.
  • Maintain and improve communication channels, ensuring that Guidance Services SharePoint pages and channels are current, engaging, and accessible.
  • Measure the impact and effectiveness of communications and wellbeing activities, using data and feedback to refine approaches and improve outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong experience in delivering operational communications and/or colleague engagement within a complex organisation.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver wellbeing or engagement activities in a workplace setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and effectively convey key messages.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of working across both operational and central teams.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise, and deliver multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.

Step 3: Final Stage Interview

Scheduled for: 03rd September 2026 – 04th September 2026

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a final interview via Microsoft Teams.

Interviews will last 1 hour and will be conducted by a panel of three.

The session will include a range of competency‑based questions to assess your skills, behaviours, and alignment with the role.
