Your Responsibilities

As the KS1 Teacher, you'll play an important role in helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally through engaging and purposeful teaching.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering creative and engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Building a classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn.
• Monitoring progress through effective assessment and adapting lessons where appropriate.
• Encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence in every pupil.
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations.
• Working closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to support pupil development.
• Taking an active role in the wider life of the school community.

We're Looking For

Applications are welcomed from teachers who have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and current teaching practice.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A positive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching.
• A passion for helping children achieve both academically and personally.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
