As an ACT, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring every prescription is dispensed accurately, safely and on time. Working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, you’ll be responsible for checking dispensed items, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance, and helping the team meet key service and performance targets. You’ll work closely with pharmacy colleagues to spot opportunities for improvement, promote best practice and help keep dispensary operations running safely and efficiently. - Dispense all received prescriptions in line with daily operational requirements. - Support the clinical team with day-to-day dispensary activities. - Follow P2U dispensary operating procedures and maintain high standards of dispensing quality and accuracy. - Adhere to all legal, regulatory, ethical, professional, and company requirements. - Work effectively within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. - Achieve individual and team performance targets to support business objectives. - Take ownership of prescription labelling and accuracy checks. - Ensure appropriate quality control measures are followed and communicate any issues or improvements to pharmacy colleagues. - Collaborate with teams across the business, including Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, and Pharmacists. - Participate in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain and enhance professional knowledge and skills. - Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive workplace culture. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and support operational efficiency.
