We have an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated Sonographers to come and join us. We are a vibrant, friendly, supportive team providing a wide range of ultrasound examinations. We are looking for candidates with experience in obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound. - To work as a clinical sonographer delivering of a high quality ultrasound service within 7 day working.
- To be an effective member of the Department of Radiology providing a high standard of imaging and patient care. Managing your own lists, performing and reporting a range of ultrasound examinations, participating in audit and supporting trainee sonographers.
- Produce high quality ultrasound reports under the delegation of the lead radiologist for Ultrasound.
- Overall responsible for contributing to providing a high quality and efficient ultrasound service.
- Maintains the high standards of the department by contributing to individual and team objectives.

- Non CASE accredted Ultrasound qualification
- BSc Radiography Degree or equivalent.
- PgC Ultrasound UK accredited
- Practical Ultrasound Training
- MSc Ultrasound
- PgD Medical Ultrasound CASE accredted
- PgD Ultrasound.
- PgD Medical Ultrasound CASE accredited.
- Ability to plan and organize as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must be able to exercise professional self-regulation
- Share complex information with staff and patients in a sensitive manner.
- Team Player - understanding team dynamics.
- Experienced Sonographer
- Experience of undertaking audit in ultrasound
- NHS Experience in ultrasound
- Experience in training other clinical users / staff in ultrasound
- Experience in equipment selection and evaluation in ultrasound
- Experience in delivering benefits relating to change management in ultrasound
