Cover Supervisor

Academics are currently supporting a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Warrington who are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor professionals to support across KS3 and KS4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Cover Supervisor to gain valuable classroom experience within mainstream secondary schools. The role would suit aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, or experienced support staff looking to progress within education.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students in completing set work during teacher absences
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Ensure lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged
• Gain valuable experience within mainstream secondary schools

We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who:

• Has previous experience working with children or young people
• Has strong behaviour management and classroom confidence
• Is adaptable, reliable and professional
• Can communicate clearly and effectively with students and staff
• Is interested in gaining experience within secondary education
• Has transferable skills from coaching, youth work, mentoring or support roles
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to obtain one)
