The Role

• Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination requirements.

• Teaching across multiple key stages, including preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on student progress and achievement.

• Supporting practical lessons, experiments, and scientific investigations safely and effectively.

• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning.

• Supporting enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, science fairs, and competitions.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Science.

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

• Knowledge of practical Science safety and health procedures.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
