What You Will Be Doing
As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Completing servicing, inspections and planned maintenance as an experienced HGV Mechanic
- Supporting breakdown repairs when required
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation throughout
- Keeping the workshop safe, clean and well-organised at all times

What You Will Need
To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician you will need:
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
- Full UK driving licence
- Diagnostics and electrical experience (desirable)
